PASL Surgeons Active Participants in ASPS’ Surgical Community

Accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) is the world’s leading organization in its category with more than 2,600 members. It was established in 1967 with a mission to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Each year, ASAPS sponsors, co-sponsors and endorses a variety of educational meetings that focus on the latest advancements in cosmetic plastic surgery. The Annual Meeting of ASAPS is recognized as the most important event of its kind, which involves physicians nationally and internationally, for clinical education and research in aesthetic surgery.

As faculty members of ASAPS, plastic surgeons at Park Avenue Smart Lipo, Dr. Spero J Theodorou and Dr. Christopher T Chia, are actively involved in the activities of this surgical community.

The Aesthetic Meeting 2014 that was held in San Francisco, California from April 24-29, featured innovative teaching methods, technological advancements and the latest research on aesthetic surgery. In this meeting, our surgeons along with their colleagues presented an innovative course on liposuction procedures for attendees. ASAPS conferences and workshops are an excellent ground for the participants to obtain valuable insight regarding the latest plastic and cosmetic surgery technology and its future prospects.

Dr. Spero J Theodorou and Dr. Christopher T Chia have been acknowledged and honored by the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) for serving as faculty members in the 2014 Aesthetic Meeting.
