- It became the most common surgical procedure for women replacing breast augmentation, with 1.8 million procedures and a notable increase of 29% compared to 2021.
ASPS reported that 347,782 lipo procedures were performed in the United States in 2023, up 7 percent from 2022. This fat removal technique outperformed breast augmentation and tummy tucks, which ranked second and third, respectively.
